Dexorus is a software development and IT consultancy studio. We build products and we advise on technology — engineering and strategic judgment from the same team.

How we work

We take on a small number of engagements at a time. That's deliberate. It means every client gets our full attention — not a rotation of junior staff and templated output.

We don't present solutions before we understand the problem. We ask questions first, build later. If you already have a clear spec, we'll challenge it honestly before writing a line of code.

We hold ourselves to the same standards on internal work as we do on client work. If we wouldn't ship it for you, we don't ship it for ourselves.

Every engagement runs through the same four stages, whether it's a two-week architecture review or a six-month build: discovery, scope, build, advise. No stage gets skipped because a deadline is tight — see how we work on the homepage for the detail.

What we believe

Good software is a craft. It requires judgment, not just execution. The best technical decisions account for the business context they exist in — and the best business decisions account for technical reality.

We think the divide between "engineering" and "strategy" is mostly artificial. We do both, because they're the same work at different scales.

We use AI tools where they genuinely speed up delivery — and we say so plainly, rather than dressing it up as more than it is. We don't use it as a substitute for understanding the problem, and we don't ship what we haven't reviewed.

Who we work with

Mostly small and mid-sized businesses that need software built properly, or a second opinion before a big technical decision. If you're choosing between "build it ourselves" and "hire it out," that's exactly the conversation we're set up to have.
